Welcome to The Art Blog everyone!
My name is Michael Biondo. I’m the creator of this little blog. I would like to grow this into a great resource for any artist, or even someone who like to just hang up artwork on the walls of their home. Please expect some changes as I’m still working through the design and developing process. I’ve been waiting for the right time to create this path for Biondo Art, which is now in the process of being built.
Allow Me to Introduce Myself…
I grew up as a young artist from the great City of Good Neighbors: grand old Buffalo, NY. From a family of artists, collectors, and treasure hunters, I was raised on principles of good value in rare items. In the sense of collecting, introduced by my grandmother, my brother and I favored the possession of sports trading cards. This taught us about organizational skills, and well as memorizing the worth of specific rarities by reading Beckett Magazine, a trading card price guide. Among the various different skills acquired & moral structure along the way of growing up as a Biondo, the combination of creativity and working with my hands became prevalent at a young age. I began drawing pets, Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Buffalo Bills & Sabres players. This opened the door to what I knew what was to become of me.
I graduated from Villa Maria College of Buffalo with an Associates in Science Degree studying Fine Arts, the earned my B.F.A from SUNY at Buffalo concentrating in Fine Arts Painting, Communication Design, and a Minor in Art History.
My experience in Marketing should be enough to earn a degree working with FastSigns, the beloved Mainstreethost, and beginning a new chapter with MyUS.
After 28 years living in the Queen City, I relocated with my family to Sarasota, Florida, right by the number one beach in America, Siesta Key. Almost two years in Florida, and I’m gaining a good perspective on the importance of establishing a connection with people by helping them the best that I could.
